1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the ManagerSignal platform ('Service'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ('Terms'). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. ManagerSignal reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, with changes effective upon posting to this page.
2. Description of Service
ManagerSignal provides a structured, anonymous, and moderated platform for team members and direct reports to submit feedback on manager and leadership effectiveness, and for employers to access aggregated analytics and benchmarking data. The Service includes, but is not limited to, structured review submission, ManagerSignal Score analytics, employer dashboards, and industry benchmarking tools.
3. User Accounts
Certain features of the Service may require registration. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Team member review submissions do not require account creation.
4. Manager Review Submissions
Manager reviews submitted through ManagerSignal must be factual, based on personal experience, and comply with our Moderation Guidelines. By submitting a review, you represent that the information provided is truthful and based on your direct experience working under the manager in question. ManagerSignal reserves the right to moderate, edit, or remove any submission that violates these Terms or our Moderation Guidelines.
5. Anonymity and Data Handling
ManagerSignal is committed to protecting team member anonymity. All manager reviews are anonymized before being processed into our analytics platform. Identifying information is stripped in accordance with our Data Handling & Anonymity Policy. ManagerSignal does not share individual reviews with employers; all data is presented in aggregate form only.
6. Employer Subscriptions
Employer access to ManagerSignal analytics requires a paid subscription. Subscription terms, pricing, and features are as described on our Pricing page. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Cancellation can be initiated at any time, with access continuing through the end of the billing period.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service (including ManagerSignal Score methodology, analytics, and design) are owned by ManagerSignal, Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Employer subscribers may use dashboard data for internal business purposes only.
8. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not: submit false or misleading information; attempt to identify anonymous review submitters; use the Service for harassment, defamation, or retaliation; scrape, copy, or redistribute ManagerSignal data without authorization; circumvent security measures or access controls.
9. Limitation of Liability
ManagerSignal provides the Service 'as is' without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ManagerSignal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
